So, it's t
he first day of my fourth semester at UWEC. My first attempt to get accepted to the nursing program was rejected do to lack of space. For this semester I'm finishing off some GE's: Human Development, Statistics, A &P 2, Intro to Religions, and Navigating Health care. 15 credits in all. I'll reapply for the fall semester, but it would take a big fat miracle to get in. Hopefully I'll get offered a spot in the Chippewa Valley Technical College Alliance program. They offer spots to the next 20 people that were turned down because of space restrictions. If that doesn't work out I don't know what the plan will be. I could go back to the Two Rivers area (not high on my list of ideas) and get my RN Associates degree at Lakeshore Technical College. I could stay here and apply to do the same thing at CVTC too. I'm not really interested in starting over somewhere new. I either want to be closer to friends/family or stay here in Eau Claire.
